Another Supporter

I recently checked out Airul Ahmad's post on the companies that is supporting the Israel zionism and that we should take a step in stopping to use their products, and when I looked at the food products in support of these zionist, I thought to myself,

"HUH? THIS IS ALMOST EVERYTHING IN MY KITCHEN AND BATHROOM!"
ALSO MAGGI!!??

It's the most epic high five fail ever to be immortalized on video tape. Displaying his usual complete disregard for anything going on outside the Seacrest Universe, Ryan Seacrest congratulated Scott Macintyre, a blind contestant on last Wednesday's American Idol, by holding his hand in front of the guy's face. Finally realizing the guy was clueless to his gesture, an embarrassed Seacrest grabbed Macintyre's hand (the one not holding the long, white cane for the blind), and had to explain to the guy what he wanted him to do. While cameras rolled and Scott's family looking on.

None of this would have been so off-the-charts on the Unintentional Comedy Scale, except the show promoted Macintyre the entire show, and did a several minute piece on the guy's life. So it's not like Macintyre's blindness caught Seacrest by surprise. An instant classic.

Did Ryan Seacrest forget he was trying to act funny?

Ever wondered why superheroes only ever get useful superpowers? Superuseless Superpowers is a hilarious blog of superpowers that wouldn’t save even the most boring of days. Seen here, the ability to fly, but only when in an aeroplane:Our favourite so far has to be 'Achieving 99% Opacity, a.k.a The Slightly Invisible Man'. Oh, what we would give to be able to become very marginally translucent at will!

Break out the sheets of acid.

Just a week after confirming their first tour in five years, the reunited Dead are booked to rock the Mid-Atlantic Inaugural Ball in Washington, D.C. on January 20th. “A DJ will open up — it’s a long, strange trip!,” Mickey Hart jokes to Rolling Stone (the DJ in question is celeb spinner DJ Cassidy). “[Barack Obama] picked us specifically,” he adds, “so it was quite an honor. There was a short list and we made the cut.”

As for the most important question — can the band jam at the ball? — Hart is dubious: “It’s pretty tight, about an hour set. When you play these kinds of things you say, ‘How can I be of service?’ The entertainment committee makes it so that it fits into their huge schedule.”

Another pitfall of political rocking: a background check. “It gave me pause when I had to get a security clearance to play a gig!” Hart says. So did they get past the security scan? “Oh, yeah, we don’t look so bad on paper. It’s not as bad as you might think.”

As you know, the Illinois House voted to impeach Rod Blagojeich. I always get his name right!. (Bla-goi-e-vich). They voted 114-1. Yeah. Shows you how cocky this guy is, he's now asking for a recount. 114-1 huh? How many votes does he expect to be incorrect? I bet not even half. HEHE :D. Yeah. Says he could beat it on the recount. I heard its cold in Illinois? Yeah! Here’s how cold it is. It is so cold in the Midwest, out there in Chicago, Governor Blagojevich had to put the ear flaps down on his hair.

President Bush had his final press conference yesterday, and it went pretty well. NO SHOES WERE THROWN. After eight years, it is kind of sad (not really) that President Bush had his final press conference. And you know what that means for me and other late night comedy shows or parodies. We’re going to have to start making fun of some other guy.

looooooooook, his 47 minutes of his last press conference which I expect nobody to watch the whole of it. So emotional.

American Idol Season 8

I was watchin' American Idol Season 8 Auditions last night and I'm very impressed with the new and fourth judge, Kara DioGuardi. A very DEMI LOVATO look-a-like. As always the audition contains some eccentric people. For example, THE BIKINI GIRL (KATRINA DARRELL) *Click this link to watch the video on YouTube* (40,000 views in just 2 days!). You can even hear Kara say "Hold on a minute b*tch" at 3:06. Since wearing a bikini to audition, it easily made Simon and Randy said 'YES' while the two other female judges debated against their decision. I think Kara DioGuardi reacted with jealously and unprofessionally to this girl. Seriously, she has a great voice and not looking for 5 minutes of attention on international television. HEHE :D

I found this YouTube video of Michael Gurr, who auditioned for American Idol seaon 8 just recently.

Hey, I ran out of grape juice. I can't bare the loss. Now what should I do with the box? :D

Hey, here's great news. Remember Sarah Palin, John McCain's running mate, governor of Alaska? Well, she has a new grandson. New baby grandson, that's right. And the new baby boy's name is Tripp. Apparently 'Oops' was taken I guess. But the governor was very excited. She brought the grandson over to her house and held it up to the window so the Russians could get a look at it. But it was quite an event. The baby was delivered by Joe the obstetrician.

The chief of staff for embattled Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich spoke to Illinois state workers on issues of ethics in the workplace. How ironic was that? Was Bernard Madoff not available? Lawmakers in Illinois voted 114-1 to impeach the governor. So apparently, Blagojevich was only able to bribe one person. There's just not enough money there anymore right? And, you know, I don't think he gets it. When he found out he was impeached, Blagojevich said he has a replacement governor already picked out. He's got somebody ready to move in.

Blogging From Gaza

I fetaured a blog here, just a short extract from her recent post.

From - A Mother From Gaza

As the Israeli ground offensive in the Gaza Strip continues, some Palestinians are turning to the web in an effort to get their voices heard - including 'Laila', a Palestinian journalist. A one-sided view of the conflict, but worth reading.

26 years to solve a rubik cube? For me, It took me 2 days.

It has taken most of his life – but, after 26 years, builder Graham Parker has finally solved the puzzle of the Rubik's Cube.

When he bought the toy in 1983, Yuri Andropov was leader of the Soviet Union, breakfast TV was a novelty and music CDs were in the shops for the first time.

'I cannot tell you what a relief it was to finally solve it,' the 45-year-old from Portchester, Hampshire, said. 'It has driven me mad over the years – it felt like it had taken over my life. Well I'm sure it did :D

While we're wary of succumbing to hubris, we nonetheless feel fairly confident in saying that this will be the weirdest video you'll see online today. It's one of the of the finest examples we've ever seen of the always-popular 'man with his head covered in bananas which then explode' genre.

What elevates it to greatness, beyond the whole banana-head explody thing, is the care and delicacy with which he rearranges the tattered banana fronds after they've been splashed across his face. It's clear that there is method here, a deliberate movement towards an essential yet unattainable goal of exploding-banana perfection. It is not the result that elevates it to the realms of greatness; it is the striving to constantly improve, to perfect, to reach for the giddy heights of transcendence that lurk forever beyond mortal reach.

We're just one week away till we say good bye to current US president George W. Bush. You know for each inauguration, the President adds his own little touches, his own signature note to the proceedings. For example, maybe you don't remember this but for the first Clinton inauguration, ladies drank free. Activists are now pressuring President-elect Obama to make good on his pledge to end the 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' policy in the military to allow gays to openly serve in the military. You know, I think it's about time. Don't you? Let me tell you something, if someone is willing to risk their life for our country, they should be able to watch 'Dancing with the Stars' openly. And, of course, you know, being president-elect is kind of awkward, because Barack Obama didn't have any experiences or accomplishments to talk about as president. So, at least he and President Bush had something in common. heheee.
