Kylie Minogue comes to Beijing :D

Australian pop star Kylie Minogue, who went from soap actress to one of the world's most famous female recording artists, wowed fans at her first performance in the Chinese capital, Beijing, with an electric show.

Well, here's something kind of embarrassing for President Bush. This is true. This year, the White House Hanukkah cards they sent out were sent out with a Christmas tree on the front. ... It was very funny. And President Bush, very embarrassed by this. He said all the cards will be pulled and all of his Jewish friends will get a new card with a picture of the Hanukkah bunny. I think he's still a little confused.

In political news, President-elect Barack Obama has named Hillary Clinton as his secretary of state. I am no political expert. I don't pretend to know much about international affairs, but a Clinton back in office? Yes!

Well, they said today during her confirmation hearings, Republicans could force her to answer a lot of embarrassing questions about Bill Clinton's financial affairs. To which Hillary said, 'What kind of affairs? Financial? Oh, no problem!'

Some weird stuff...

An American man who rammed a woman's vehicle at more than 100mph with his truck told police he'd done it so because God told him to.

Both drivers received only minor injuries in the incident in the San Antonio region, which was allegedly prompted by God telling the man that the female driver 'needed to be taken off the road.'

'He just said God said she wasn't driving right,' explained Bexar County Sheriff's Office spokesman Kyle Coleman told the San Antonio Express-News. Exactly what was not right about her driving remains, for the moment, a mystery.

The author's day..

China celebrates 'WORLD AIDS DAY'

With colorful kites, art exhibits and inspirational performances across Beijing from the Bird’s Nest Olympic stadium to the chic 798 Art District, Chinese and U.N. organizers marked World AIDS Day with a commitment to wage battle against the epidemic threatening the world's most populous nation.

The display of broad unity, with the attendance of some AIDS activists that have been targets of China's sporadic crackdowns in the past, was a touching tribute to this year's theme of "One Goal, One Dream - of a World without Stigma"

"Stigma and discrimination are major obstacles in an effective response to AIDS," said Health Minister Chen Zhu at the launch of the campaign at the Bird's Nest Olympic stadium. "We need to engage all sectors of society in China to combat these issues and work to stop the disease."

People walk past a giant red ribbon set up on the facade of the Bird's Nest during a World AIDS Day event in Beijing.

China has an estimated 700,000 people who are HIV-positive, with about 85,000 people suffering from full-blown AIDS, according to estimates released by the Chinese government and U.N. health organizations. In comparison, just over 1.1 million Americans are estimated to be infected with HIV.

Robots tread the boards in world's first 'robot play' :D

Scientists in Japan have achieved major breakthroughs in robotics - as they've staged the world's first 'robot play'.

The two robots stars of the play, Takeo and Momoko, appear alongside human actors in the play Hataraku Watashi ('Working Me').

So if you askin just a little of what I did today. Here it is..

The Colonel of the Brunei Armed Forces Mr. Wardi invited us for lunch today
. Good food! :D

I'm not really into the whole chit chat thing on the lunch table. But instead, I spent the time with some Bruneian kids who live here. They're cool :D

I happened to talk with my little buddies here and apparently most of them spend their time playing stacks with their mom's kitchen cups. Check out the amazing the talent my little buddies have here :D

THEY MAKE THOSE RUBIK'S CUBE SOLVERS IN BRUNEI LOOK LIKE A PILE OF SH*T IN COMPARISON :D

Good effort though :D

Better than the previous one :D

I found him to be the best one :D

..and yeaah, I lost control of the kids. They had to much sugar for the day. :D

..and so I noticed all this hype for this movie, 'Twilight'. Well, I've never read the novel or anything. I just knew about this weeks ago. So I'm sure everybody knows that its soundtrack is 'Decode' by popular rock band Paramore, if that's what got people interested.

and uhh... we all remember Soulja Boy don't we? Soulja Boy has a new album, 'iSouljaBoyTellEm', releasing the first official single 'Bird Walk' which also comes with a dance which I expect everyone is going to be doing like the last one 'Crank Dat'. :D

..and here's a video of the 'Bird Walk' Dance I got from Soulja Boy's Official YouTube Page

I kinda found this to be interesting when I heard last Thursday in Russia, that thieves were trying to steal a house.
Yes that's right, they tried to steal a house :D

I know thieves who try to steal from a house but never a house. And the thing is.. the house was being stolen one brick at a time. How long would that even take before someone notices that you're stealing a house?

The pair even stopped for lunch during their audacious theft and a neighbor inadvertently helped them by collecting fallen tiles. That's just nice.. :D

All the roof slates were taken and one of the walls of the three-bedroom semi was wrecked before the alarm was raised.

The owner, a property developer, said the damage would cost him £10,000 to repair.

'You've got to laugh at the cheek of it,' he said.

'They were literally stealing my house. They went there with hard hats and yellow jackets and took ladders. They even stopped for a lunch break.'

Dorset Police said two 38-year-old men had been arrested in connection with the incident in Parkstone, near Poole.

..and here we have our beloved Britney Spears showing off her award from the recent 2008 Bambi Awards. I'm not sure whether the outfit matched the occasion so dont ask me :D

Random picture of the day is...

Me and a stone bull

Just a little on what I did today...

I went to a curtain mall. The curtain mall was as big as 'The Mall' in Gadong, but the only difference was that shops there sell curtains. Why was I there? You don't have to know :D
